תאור כללי של הקורס:
הסמינר יעסוק בסוגיות קלאסיות ובנושאים על סדר היום בפוליטיקה אלקטוראלית. הסמינר מאורגן סביב נושאים, אך הם יידונו בהקשר של מדינות ומוקדי עניין גאוגרפים ספציפיים בתקופות מסוימות.
הנושאים שיידונו כוללים: ייצוגיות, מעמד והצבעה, מגדר והצבעה, שיטות בחירה, מערכות מפלגות, בחירות בחברות משוסעות מבחינה אתנית, מפלגות ימין קיצוני ושנאת זרים, מצב הכלכלה והצבעה, ועוד.

הסמינר יהיה מבוסס על דיון בכיתה. נבנה בו בהדרגה את עבודות המחקר של הסטודנטיות והסטודנטים. לקראת סוף סמסטר א' ובמהלך סמסטר ב' אערוך מפגשים עם הסטודנטים בקורס בהם נדון בהצעות המחקר, ובהמשך נתמודד עם אתגרים ספציפיים למחקרים השונים ונפתח את עבודות הסמינר.

תיאור הסמינר
הסמינר יעסוק בסוגיות קלאסיות ובנושאים על סדר היום בממשק שבין מגדר לפוליטיקה ולמעשה גם מגדר
וחברה וכלכלה. הסמינר מאורגן סביב נושאים, אך הם יידונו בהקשר של מדינות, חברות, אירועים, ותקופות
מסוימות. הנושאים שיידונו כוללים: הבדלים בין נשים לגברים בידע פוליטי ודפוסי השתתפות בפוליטיקה,
נשים ותנועות מחאה, הרחבת זכות הבחירה, מבנה המשק והשפעתו על נשים, עמדות פוליטיות של נשים
תחת האסלאם, הגלולה והשפעתה על נשים, מגדר והצבעה ועוד.
הסמינר יהיה מבוסס על דיון בכיתה. נבנה בו בהדרגה את עבודות המחקר של הסטודנטיות והסטודנטים.
לקראת סוף סמסטר א' ובמהלך סמסטר ב' אערוך מפגשים עם הסטודנטים בהם נדון בהצעות המחקר,
ובהמשך נתמודד עם אתגרים ספציפיים למחקרים השונים ונפתח את עבודות הסמינר.

מטלות הקורס
נוכחות והשתתפות. נוכחות, השתתפות, ותרומה לדיון הם מרכיב חשוב בדרישות הסמינר. הקפידו לקרוא
את חומר הקריאה לפני השיעור. אם סטודנט/ית נאלצ/ת להיעדר משיעור, יש ליצור איתי קשר מראש.
נייר תגובה. שלושה ניירות תגובה יוגשו במהלך הסמסטר. נייר התגובה יכלול סיכום קצר של המאמר
ותגובה של הסטודנט/ית (ביחס של 3/1 ,3/2 ,בהתאמה). אורך הנייר – עמוד אחד. יש להגיש את הניירות
בתחילת השיעור.
סטודנטים ששם משפחתם מתחיל באותיות א-כ יגישו בשבועות 3 ,5 ,7
סטודנטים ששם משפחתם מתחיל באותיות ל-ת יגישו בשבועות 4 ,6 ,8
לא ניתן לשנות את מועדי ההגשה. אנא תכננו בהתאם.
הצעת מחקר. הצעת המחקר תכלול: מוטיבציה, שאלת מחקר, השערות, מערך מחקר, הנתונים בהם

ייעשה שימוש, ורשימת מקורות ראשונית. הצעת המחקר תוגש עד ה-20 במרץ (לאחר פגישות אישיות).
אורכה של הצעת המחקר יהיה עמודים ספורים. אפרט עוד בכיתה לקראת ההגשה.
פגישות אישיות. על כל תלמיד/ה להיפגש איתי לפחות ארבע פעמים במהלך השנה על פי זמנים שנקבע.
פגישות אלה הן חובה (והן בעיקר מאוד מועילות). בפגישות האלה נגבש את המחקר ותינתן הדרכה אישית
בפיתוחו. בפועל בד"כ מתקיימות הרבה יותר מארבע פגישות.
פרזנטצית רשות. לאורך הסמסטר הראשון תינתן אפשרות להציג בקצרה מאמר או הרחבה אחרת על אחד
הנושאים. כמובן שאנחה ואלווה את המציגות/ים. פרזנטציה יכולה לפתור מנייר תגובה (ואז אינה נחשבת
כבונוס).
פרזנטציה. פרזנטציה של עיקרי המחקר וממצאיו לקראת סוף סמסטר ב'.
עבודה סמינריונית. אורך העבודה הוא 30-20 עמודים. העבודה תסתמך על הספרות הקיימת ותצא ממנה
למחקר עצמאי. העבודה תוגש עד ה-9 באוגוסט, 2020.
