Course/Module description:

Course/Module aims:
Teach the the main tools long-term strategic thinking. Enable the analysis of complex phenomena enveloped by a high degree of uncertainty, and help formulate long-term policy with respect to the future character of the State of Israel.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Analyze existing processes through observing system, creating a map of systems thinking, setting variables, and identify the main drivers.
• trace the possible future trends in attention cause uncertainty and develop possible scenarios
• formulate a future vision models with attention to three types of vision: Vision defensive determining thresholds below them must not lose, positive vision that determines the maximum goals and strive to achieve the vision of providing defensive ranging from vision and positive vision.
• Develop strategies distinguishing between official strategies that meet the question "What should I do?" Theories and strategies that meet the question "Who and how to do?".

Course/Module Content:
1. Analysis of Key Issues in Israeli society, while examining models and key processes to shape the image of the country analysis will be made both in the current course and a course parallel: Issues in Israeli society past and present, to teach on Tuesdays semester, Slibos corresponding course be given separately.
2. Development of a number of scenarios in relation to Israel's future image
3. Formulation of various models of vision
4. Developing strategies for progress scenarios at Vision models
