Course/Module description:
This course will provide basic principles of research in the field of occupational therapy. Different approaches for conducting a study will be presented.

Course/Module aims:
1. Provide knowledge and understanding of basic concepts, ideas and principle of research
2. Provide skills of critical thinking of studies, their findings and their clinical implications
3. Provide skills and basic rules to plan and perform a study

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. critically read a professional article
2. categorise articles according to their characteristics
3. write research questions
4. define study variables
5. choose an approach for a study
6. evaluate evidence for clinically use
7. Write a CAP
