Course/Module description:
The course will continue the encounter with activity and research of modern psychology, which began in the first semester. Wק will discuss main theories in the areas of personality and their implications for psychopathology and psychotherapy.

Course/Module aims:
The course seeks to provide a basic understanding of theories and research on human behavior and human thought. We will follow different approaches and discuss concepts taken from the various fields of psychological research.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
• Know and understand crucial theories in the psychology of personality.
• Familiarize with the discourse that characterizes abnormal psychology, while encountering a number of mental disorders.
• Critically evaluate the various research methods used in the field.
• Expand knowledge in important areas of human behavior.
• Apply insights to understanding healthy and pathological human behavior.

• Key theories.
Psychopathology and psychotherapy.
• Therapeutic perspectives.
(Psychoanalysis, CBT, Gestalt, Existential and Humanistic Approaches).

Course evaluation:
- 70%: final exam at the end of the semester.
Moed aleph: 2.3.2022.
Moed Bet: . 2.27.2022
- 20%: a short group integrative assignment.
- 10%: A minimum of 3 small assignements

- A passing grade in the final exam at the end of the semester is mandatory for obtaining a passing grade in the course.
