Course/Module description:
The course exposes students to the exciting world of clinical Neurology. The talks are conveyed by experienced neurologists who actively engage in both clinical and basic research.

Course/Module aims:
The course aims to bridge the gaps between clinical and basic science research in the field of Neurology so that students can gain better insights into the needs and targets of the research they are performing in the lab

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
At the completion of the course the students will be able to better understand the terminologies used in clinical neurology and define the needs for future research in translational neuroscience

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:

Course/Module Content:
Lectures will include cerebroavscular disease, myasthenia gravis , multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune syndromes, epilepsy, dementia, muscle disease and degenerative disorders including Parkinson's disease

Required Reading:
Relevant chapters from Adams and Victor's Principles of Neurology 10th Edition
