To understand the importance of personalized medicine. As a proof of concept will focus primarily on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases

To understent what personalized medicine is
To understand the various aspects of this approch and its complexity
To understand the chances and risks of this approach
to learn about the methods used today with a look to the future to implement the method

1. Plenary introduction-personalized medicine Dr. Iris lavon and Dr. Adi vaknin
2. methods to identify SNPs and Omics – Dr. Iris lavon (2 hours)
3-4. Dr Shi Rozenberg Bioinformatics (4 hours)
5-6. Prof Sara Eyal. Pharmacogenetics (4 hours).
7-8. Dr Shiri Shkedi, Oncogenetics(4 hours).
9-10. Dr Aviad Zick, Precition medicine in oncology.
11. Dr Adi Vaknin - Neurology.
12. Summary
