תאור כללי של הקורס:
הקורס מכסה ומדגים את העקרונות הבסיסים של הטיפולים הניתוחיים, ובכללם ניתוחים אנדו-וסקולרים, במחלות כלי דם. ההוראה מתמקדת במחלות חסימתיות של כלי הדם הפריפרים והמרכזיים כולל עורקי הצוואר, מפרצות, מחלות ורידיות וטראומה ווסקולרית. ידע קודם אשר נרכש במסגרת קורסים קודמים בכירורגיה כללית, וברפואה פנימית, מיושם לטיפול במחלות כלי דם.

מטרות הקורס:
הכרת עקרונות האבחון, הטיפול והמעקב אחר חולים במחלות עורקיות וורידיות.
חשיפה לטיפולים ניתוחיים ואנדו-וסקולרים בכלי דם.
הקניית חשיבה ביקורתית ביחס לחולים, למחלות ולאפשרויות הטיפוליות.

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
1. לתאר ולהבין את הפתולוגיות העורקיות והורידיות המרכזיות.
2. לתאר את מגוון הטיפולים האפשריים במחלות כלי דם.
3. לקבל אנמנזה רלוונטית, לבצע בדיקה גופנית ממוקדת, וליצור תוכנית אבחנתית ו/או טיפולית ראשונית.
4. להבין את מטרת האשפוז בתוך תהליך הטיפול בחולים.
5. לאפיין את אוכלוסיית החולים במחלות כלי דם.
6. להבין את תפקיד המעבדה לכלי דם ככלי אבחנתי וטיפולי.

שיטת ההוראה בקורס: הצטרפות לצוות המחלקה בביקורים, בטיפול בחולים, ובישיבות.
השתתפות בניתוחים ובצנתורים.
סבב במעבדת כלי הדם וחשיפה לבדיקות עורקיות וורידיות.
