Course/Module description:
A clinical course oriented to final-year medical students. The course will provide the students with the basic skill and tools to assess and employ modern cardiolgical imaging and inteventions. The course will empasize problem-based approaches to cardiac symptoms and diseases.
Course/Module aims:
- Know the basic cardiological diagnoses and their differential diagnoses
- Know the different cardiac interventional procedures, and asses risk and benefit for each
- learn intensive cardiac care in acute cardiac syndromes
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
- Perform a thourogh differential diagnosis in acute and chronic cardiac situations
- Know the different cardiac imaging modalities and their expected yield
-The students will be expected to learn compelet EKG reading and interpretation
- Know the different cardiac interventions techniques, and their indications
-Know treatment protocols for acute cardiac situations

Welcome to heart! We are pleased to welcome you to study in the cardiology division. Advanced planning made an effort to incorporate adequate clinical activity and extent of teaching. The Department sees you as an integral part of the team. You will be divided into two groups: one rotation in the intensive cardiac and cardiology, and the other in the interventional unit. In the second round will be held between the groups.
