Course/Module description:
This course is designed to provide students with fundamental knowledge in dermatology. This program combines frontal lectures, case-based studies, and interactive clinical exposure in both outpatient clinics and inpatient department. The primary goal is to instruct students in the essential skills of conducting anamnesis and physical examinations in dermatology while imparting basic, clinically-relevant knowledge about common skin diseases

- Acquisition of dermatological anamnesis capabilities
- Acquisition of capabilities in dermatological physical examination and description of skin eruptions
- Performance of basic differential diagnosis in skin diseases based on their morphology

Course/Module Content:
Basic terms in dermatology
Common papulosquamous diseases (Psoriasis, Pityriasis rosea, Pityriasis versicolor)
Eczema/Dermatitis (Atopic dermatitis, Contact dermatitis, Seborrheic dermatitis)
Fungal skin infections
Common viral or bacterial skin infections (Herpes zoster, Herpes simplex, Impetigo, Cellulitis, Viral warts)
