Course/Module description:
During the course the students will accompany the department staff in their outpatient clinics, inpatients consults, staff meetings and other department activities. Their are also available online teaching resources in moodle.
Course/Module aims:
By the course end, the students are expected to have encountered the common endocrinopathies and their management.
Moreover, they should be able to construct a comprehensive endocrine differential diagnosis and formulate a plan for its evaluation.
The students should be familiar with the main treatment options for the endocrinopathies.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Perform a physical exam.
Assess the patient's laboratory and imaging tests.
Formulate a differential diagnosis.
Establish a treatment plan.
Manage ongoing treatment changes and complications
