Course/Module description:
The clerkship provides a wide knowledge regarding the fundamental fields in plastic and reconstructive surgery
Course/Module aims:
The students are expected to deal with patients presenting basic problems regarding plastic surgery
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The students should memorize the lectures given and to implement the material to the real world patients
The students should learn and improve the basic suturing techniques
The students should define the problem the patients present with
The students should analyze and arrange the treatment options and to provide the best solution

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:
The students should attend the rounds, the clinics, operation room and frontal lectures. The students are involved in the admission process of elective and non elective cases. The students are expected to stay for 2 night shifts during the elective

skin tumors - BCC, SCC, malignant melanoma.
ear reconstruction and congenital melanocytic nevi.
