Course/Module aims:
Domestic Violence: Provide tools to detect and identify domestic violence phenomena (women, the elderly, at-risk children and sexual assault) and to treat these victims.
Ethics: Knowledge of the four principles of medical ethics, and analysis of clinical cases.
Students will learn the principles of the Patient Rights Act and the principles of the Dying patient Law.
Occupational Medicine: emphasizing the importance of occupational medical history, raising suspicion of occupational diseases, knowing work environment health risk factors
Family medicine: Implement clinical approach to assess and treat acute problems in the community, implement the approach to chronic disease management in the community, implementation of preventive medicine and community health promotion, demonstrate principles of family medicine: promoting patients health in his family environment, community, home, and community health services. Performing medical interview, physical examination, and integrative clinical thinking.
Infection prevention: Providing basic principles in preventing and practicing infection control.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Domestic Violence: Understanding the relationship between violence phenomenon and health problems, identifying patients or victims of violence or neglect, referring to appropriate sources of assistance in our health system, and familiarity with the set of laws and procedures.
• Ethics: The ability to demonstrate how medical ethics principles are expressed in case studies, identifying conflicts between different ethical values, and the ability to propose ways to resolve the dilemmas.
• Occupational Medicine: The ability to perform basic assessments of work environment exposures and to identify a causal relationship between health injury and work, familiarity with basic medical and legal conduct in cases of professional morbidity suspicion and familiarity with the occupational medicine system.
• . Family Medicine: The ability to analyze in-depth processes in a family experiencing a medical crisis, understanding the special complexity of the chronic patient in family medical practice, understanding basic principles and key features of primary medicine(WONCA), understanding tools for dealing with unexplained medical complaints, and implementing a motivational interview.
• . Infection prevention: recognition and ability to apply basic principles in preventing infection spread in general, and in hospital
