The module aims to assure capacity to extend first aid in emergencies and basic life support. It emphasizes the students commitment to be a first responder out of hospital, once he becomes part of the healthcare community

The student will be competent in first aid and basic life support in out of the hospital setting in common emergencies
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

1 . Will know what the common emergencies are, and how they should be treated out of hospital
2. will perform in simulation a first survey of the injured and sick ( including comatose)
3. Will treat in simulation emergencies inc BLS & common trauma situations in out of hospital setting
