Course/Module description:
The course is an introductory course on parasites that cause human diseases. It will focus on some of the major pathogenic Eukaryote parasite from protozoan parasite to parasitic helminths. We will learn a variety of parasitic life cycles, ways of infection, treatment and the unique evolutionary adaptation to parasitology as a "way of life".
