Course/Module description:
This course deals with the initial academic skills required for students to express themselves in professional and academic writing. These skills include familiarity with academic sources of information, search skills in these databases, computer use for academic purposes, and writing and expression skills.
In addition, the course deals with promoting and improving scientific writing skills - organizing content, writing and recording sources according to the APA guide. Emphasis will be placed on the integrative writing skills of different literary sources.

At the end of the course the student will demonstrate the ability:
Define a topic for writing a paper
2. Search databases.
3. Locate and read sources of information.
4. Summarize information and develop critical thinking based on academic articles/texts.
5. Recognize what academic integrity is and act on it.
6. Recall items in a body of work and in the bibliographic list according to the APA guide.
7. Submit academic work according to APA format.

1. Explain a scientific connection / scientific writing
2. Formulate an idea.
3. Locate and read information from the sources.
4. Write paragraphs.
5. Summarize information.
