Course/Module description:
Clinical Practice in Nursing patients and their families during hospitalization.
The experience will include practice assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients in the ward. The course emphasis is placed on the role of the nurse as a care manager and comprehensive nursing care to promote health at all levels of the process according to the principles of nursing. Emphasis on the issues:
Communication: therapeutic talk
Support: the patient's family
Care management: : active work with a multidisciplinary team
Continuity of care: communication with health services in the community
patient education: going home

Course/Module aims:
The purpose of clinical experience to promote the acquisition of clinical skills in nursing.
Emphasis will be placed on the role of nurse providing comprehensive nursing care to promote preventive health care at all levels of the process according to the principles of nursing several patients simultaneously.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Demonstrate knowledge and integration of issues:

A. Anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the relevant systems.
B. The nursing process and specific nursing interventions performed and their impact on patients and their families
C.. Social- mental consequences of health problems and interventions in the hospitalized patient and his family ..
D. Diagnostic tests and their implications for hospitalized patients.
G. Meaning and its impact on the patient's family

Carry out a comprehensive, methodical nursing intervention on the patients and their families in the different stages. .
A. Make a comprehensive assessment.
B. Set nursing diagnosis
C. Plan nursing intervention program short and long term and define criteria for estimation.
D. Execute the interventions plan while maintaining the priorities and principles of nursing.
G. Plan and Execute patient education.
H. Evaluate the results of the nursing interventions and intervention plan accordance with the criteria set.
G. Report professionally.

for your attention:

All invasive procedure and operation of medical devices should be performed only in the presence of clinical instructor.
Must not distribute drugs or prepare it in any way by yourself.
Mobility of patients will be done under the guidance and presence of the instructor.
The student has personal responsibility to the patient.
Do not leave the department without informing the instructor and the nurse in charge of the room
