Course/Module description:
The course is an introduction to discrete subgroups groups. Topics will include Fuchsian groups, Mostow Rigidity theorem, Quasi Isometry rigidity.

Course/Module aims:
Introduction to discrete subgroups of various topological groups.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Study discrete subgroups further.
