Course/Module description:
Second semester of Linear Algebra - linear transformations, inner product spaces, bilinear forms, dual spaces, Jordan canonical formץ

Course/Module aims:
Introduction to some other notions in Linear Algebra.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Feel acquainted with the formal-deductive structure, being able to write proofs and solve problems in linear algebra.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Lecture + exercise

Course/Module Content:
1. Polynomials

2. Operators, invariant subspaces, cyclic subspaces, eigenvectors and eigenvalues, direct sums, diagonalization, characteristic polynomial, Jordan normal form.

3. Inner product spaces, operators on inner product spaces

4. Bilinear and quadratic forms
