The course covers the braod field of statistical physics of systems under thermal equilibrium.

The teaching methods include frontal lectures, recitation sections and homework sets.

Ideal gases, thermodynamic ensembles, quantum gases, Fermions and Bosons, phonons, black body radiation and magnetic systems.
