In this course you will learn fundamental techniques to make spreadsheet creation, data entry, and internet search of pharmacy-related websites.
Course/Module aims:
This course will teach participants the basic functions and features of Excel, and Internet search engines related to pharmacy.

Understand spreadsheet terminology and environment.
Navigate a worksheet.
Enter and edit labels, values, and formulas in a worksheet.
Understand relative and absolute references.
Use functions.
Find data with a formula.
Create, format, and modify charts.
Work with tables.
Manage multiple worksheets.
Use Conditional formatting and SmartArt graphics.
Use Search Engines to look for Academic and Medical information in the Internet.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:
Lectures will be conducted in the computer farms, examples will be displayed and students will be able to experiment with writing small programs.
An exercise will be given every week. At least 7 of the given exercises, in addition to an assignment in web-search, must be submitted in order to be eligible for a course grade.
