Course/Module description:
Lectures about medical research and military medical reserch. Teaching about the different aspects of the research and giving tools for conducting a military medical research.
Presentation of variety of influential studies that were performed by IDF physicians in military settings and had a profound effect (within the IDF or globally) on disease prevention policy and/or clinical treatment in differnet branches of the IDF medical corps.
Course/Module aims:
Teaching how to conduct a good clinincal military medical study.
Exposing the student to monumental and high-academic quality studies in the various fields of military medicine.
Exposing the student to central databases that could be used to medical studies in the IDF
Facilitating the conceptualization of a leading theme to MD final project.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Getting familiar with the steps of conduction of a military medical reaserch,
familiarization with medical research legacy of the IDF and with central databases that can be potentially used for medical research

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:
Frontal lectures and workshops in small groups.
Course/Module Content:
1. Introduction- to the course to the concepts of military medical research and to the final task.
2. Series of lectures teaching how to conduct a research detailing the requirements and manner of work in each and every step.
3. Mid semester workshop and initiation of the task managemnet together with an IDF mentor.
4. Series of letcures exposing the srtudents to studies in various topics in differents military medical / Dental medical domains.
5. Final task presentation in several sessions.

In any frontal or online classes- full participation and attendance throughout the whole lesson is required. In zoom lectures students will be requested to turn their camera on , connecting as unique participant and to identify by their full name
