Course/Module description:
Presentation of the concept of medical service in different aspects and from different point of views

Course/Module aims:
Assesing the unique aspects of military medical sevice in medical corps and medical treatment- from different points of view: the physician, the patient,the patient family, the society, the Israeli law, the commander etc.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The student will able to evaluate the method of giving medical service and to better understand the patient side.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Lectures, discussions and debates in an online and frontal methods

Course/Module Content:
1. Itroduction to military medical service.
2. Assesing the medical service from the side of the physician/ dentist
3. Lectures about the medical service given in IDF from the view of the patient and its envoirnment- the family, the commander, the Israeli society, the law etc.
4. The medical corps tools and utilities to give medical service in IDF
5. Work in small workshops guided by military physicians and dentists.
6. Final task of assessing a case from all those mentioned points of view. Double presentation in order to step up each presentation and discuss it thoroughly

In any frontal or online classes- full participation and attendance throughout the whole lesson is required. In zoom lectures students will be requested to turn their camera on and be identified by their full names.
