Course/Module description:
Frontal lectures combined with discussions in small groups and educational tours

Course/Module aims:
To provide knowledge of basic terms and introduction to the military system, Israeli healthcare system and the IDF medical corps and its branches.
Introspection and discussions over the physician role in the army and in the Israeli society and establishing the conception of this role, as a part of three year mentoring program.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
To know the basic terms in military medical environment, Israeli healthcare system and IDF medical corps.

100%

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Frontal, seldom online, lectures with workshops in smaller groups.

1. IDF and IDF medical corps basic structure
2.Israeli health system, set of rules and military interaction with them
3.Introduction to military medicial branches jargon

Additional information:
In any frontal or online classes- full participation and attendance throughout the whole lesson is required. In zoom lectures students will be requested to turn their camera on , connectong as unique participant and to identify by their full name.
