Course/Module description:
Students will perform a laboratory project depending on their chosen mentor.

Course/Module aims:
Experience research and learn specific methodologies in theory and in practice.
Understand how to analyse results and present them.
Learn to critically analyze research studies.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Perform techniques learned in the course.
Understand the rationale behind the protocols.
Know how to analyse (statistically) the results obtained.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Hands on course in different research labs

Course/Module Content:
Each student will pick a mentor and learn methods in their laboratory.

Individual based on topic for the research exercise
