Course/Module description:
understanding core topics in environmental management and economics related to planning of sustainable development in local, national and international levels. Developing critical thinking in relation to environmental planning while including topics on environmental economics and development economics emphasizing dynamic and spatial dimensions in sustainable economics.
Course/Module aims:
Understanding various economic, environmental and social considerations in environmental planning at local, national and international levels.
Understanding the link between planning.
Understanding the dilemmas between in environmental development and planning and the means available to deal with them.
understanding the importance of environmental awareness at various stakeholders.
becoming familiar with Israel's environmental development policy.
