Course/Module description:
In this course, a combination of practical work and professional guidance is planned to review new scientific evidently-based medical content. Clinical education enables students to experience unique activities and self-experience to enrich their current graduate studies.
Course/Module aims:
This course will incorporate selected and changing topics in the field of nutrition with emphasis on recent innovations. The course will explore innovative tools and methods for collecting data, medical and personal related information (client related), with an emphasis on combining therapeutic approaches, needs, and individual capabilities with evidently-based personalized nutrition while accessing daily routine, applications of microbiome and genetic innovations for personalized nutrition in a multidisciplinary teamwork environment.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Implementation of nutritional assessment tools appropriate for community practice use
2. Understanding the various factors affecting patient's nutritional related needs
3. Presenting new therapeutic approaches to community nutritional care in various disease states
4. Understanding the therapist roll in treatment process
5. Practical applications provided in a learning support environment
6. Purchase basic tools in the field of TELEHEALTH innovative care

Meeting 2– Selected Clinical Nutrition Issues related to Community care (Heart disease; Diabetes; Obesity)
Meeting 3- Nutritional assessment A-Z applying nutritional therapy applications in the TELEHEALTH era
Meeting 4- Reviewing the nutrition care process
Meeting 5- Discussing Health promotion aspects; ethical issues and multi-professional medical care team
Meeting 6- Virtual reality while practicing a case-study and review assessment tools suitable for use in a community setting including genetic and microbiome aspects
Meeting 7- Preparations towards clinical setting while examining community-hospital interactions related patient care
Meetings 8-12: Guided clinical experience
Meetings 13-14: Reflection and outcomes evaluation using the nutrition care process
