Course/Module description:
The course will teach concepts and methods related to protein engineering , protein production and protein structure.
The course will review instruments and methods for characterizing proteins and teach concepts and techniques to create a library of peptides. In addition research methodes in nanobiotechnology will be studied

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Understand the different routs available when engineering proteins. Be familiar with tools that will help in the design and characterization of proteins.
Understand how to create peptide libraries and how to use affinity tags.
