Lab instruction on basic methods in biochemistry

Course/Module aims:
Experiencing lab work in biochemistry and understanding the principles of scientific work.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

Course/Module Content:
Chapter 1: DNA transformation into bacteria and His-tagged HCA II expression in bacterial cells.
Chapter 2: Purification of the recombinant protein HCA II.
Chapter 3: Characterization of the catalytic properties of the enzyme HCA II.
