Course/Module description:
World Biomes and relationships with climatic conditions. Effects of geological processes and past climatic changes on the development of biomes. Evolution and taxonomic composition of biomes. Morphological and physiological adaptations allowing species presence in different climatic conditions.Plant life forms. Vegetation formations in Mediterranean, desert and sea litoral in Israel.

Understand historic processes (evolution, geology, climatic change) and present biotic and abiotic conditions on world and Israel vegetation types
