Course/Module description:
Beef cattle breeding in Israel and abroad: Herd management, breeding for production, calving management, pasture herd management, precision technologies in pasture and assimilation in beef herd management. Fattening cattle in feedlot, production and efficiency in the feedlot.

Course/Module aims:
Learning the essence of beef herds in Israel and around the world. Management and production in extensive operation in pasture and intensive operation in the feedlot.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Gaining knowledge of the essence and complexity of running an extensive livestock production system. Getting to know the challenges and prospects for development
