Course/Module description:
Understanding of the basic analysis tools that can help diagnose the financial and business condition of a company and its prospects for future development.
Based on the financial statements and balance sheets in particular, profit and loss and cash flows.

Course/Module aims:
Understanding practical tools for financial analysis of companies

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The student will be able to analyze the financial status of the company via the financial statements.

Course/Module Content:
1.Financial analysis purposes and to whom it is intended
2.Sources of information about the company, industry and economic environment in which it operates
3.Adjusting the financial statements befor starting financial analysis
4.Analysis of the trends in the balance sheets
5.Analysis of the trends in the profit and loss
6.Analysis of Financial Ratios
7.Cash Flow Analysis
8.Survival and recovery plans of companies that have failed
9.Sector analysis reports
