Course/Module description:
The course content includes the economic principles of natural resources management: spatial and temporal efficiency, renewable and non-renewable resources, fishery and water.
Course/Module aims:
The objective is to teach the basic theory of economic management of natural resources, efficient management of renewable and non-renewable resources under static and dynamic frameworks.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

Economic analysis of the use of natural resources, sustainability and scarcity
Concept of rent and land use analyses
The tragedy of the commons
Renewable natural resources - static analysis
Consumable natural resources - dynamic analysis
Models of land and water uses.
Investment in renewable energies.
