Course/Module description:
Learning of methods for empirical research in software engineering, and participation in a project implementing the methods that were learned.

Course/Module aims:
To know and understand the principles and methods of empirical research;
To experience the execution of a research project

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Use empirical research methods in software engineering;
Plan and execute a simple research project;
Find and evaluate useful data;
Critically read and evaluate a report on empirical research in software engineering
