Course/Module description:
This course reviews the normal behavior of dogs and cats based on old and contemporary studies that are based on evolution, the pack and domestication of the animal.
Then, the course discusses the behavior problems of dogs and cats and ways to address them

Course/Module aims:
1. Basic recognition of normal feline and canine behavior.
2. Basic recognition of various behavioral patholgies.
3. Skills for analysis of normal behavior
4. Skills for analysis of problem behaviors and devising treatment plan for these behaviors
5. Skills for advising owners of cats and dogs on prevention of behavior problems

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
At the end of the course, students will have acquired the skills to:
1. Differentiate between normal and pathological behaviors of the dog and cat.
2. Analyze normal behaviors
3. Diagnose common behavior problems of the dog and cat
4. Based on their diagnosis, devise a plan aimed at altering problematic or pathological behavior patterns in the dog and cat, using the tools acquired during the course.

Separation related distress;
Management-related behavior problems;
