Course/Module description:
The course will present basic concepts of quantitative research in education in general, and in Jewish education in particular. Central to the course will be a small-scale quantitative study based on attitude questionnaires.
Course/Module aims:
The course is aimed at familiarizing students with basic concepts of quantitative research and providing an experience of conducting a quantitative study (planning, executing, conducting statistical analyses, and reporting).
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Upon completion of the course, students will be capable of understanding and interpreting quantitative research based on relatively simple statistical analyses. They will also be able to devise attitude questionnaires and conduct a quantitative study in Jewish education.
