Course/Module description:
The course will expose participants to contemporary Jewish scholars who cover an entire spectrum of education, thought and activism. We’ll aim to understand how theory and practice connect, and learn about the challenges involved in the renewal of Judaism in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
By the end of the course, participants gain a deep understanding of Jewish Renewal, its roots, core ideas and characteristics. During the course participants research and analyze different aspects of Jewish Renewal, with an emphasis on education. Participants complete the course with the ability to 'translate', transfer, and implement the knowledge and skills gained into educational and pedagogical spaces.
