Course/Module description:
During the course the students will learn about the legal proceedings conducted by the Commissioner of Patents. The sudents will be divided into two opposing groups, each one representing a party in a Patent Opposition case
Course/Module aims:
The course aims to provide the students with a good understanding of Patent Law and the specific legal proceedings using practical tools.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

be able to analyze a patent application;
write a pleading;
cross examine an expert witness;
present arguements.

General presenation (ILPO, aims of patent law, patent examination procedure)
Oppositions;
Preparation for participation in a real trial at ILPO;
