Course/Module description:
The pharmaceutical market in Israel and abroad is subject to numerous unique regulatory arrangements deriving from the pharmaceuticals' characteristics as dangerous products the use of which requires precaution and as essential products that availability of which to patients must be secured. The different rationale for regulation of the pharmaceutical market led to setting complex and, in some cases, contradicting regulatory arrangements. The course reviews the major regulatory arrangements applying to the pharmaceutical market in Israel and abroad.

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Acquaintance with basic terminology of the regulation of the pharmaceutical market. Acquaintance with basic principles of regulation of the pharmaceutical market. Analyzing basic issues of pharmaceutical market regulation.
