Course/Module description:
The workshop consists of discussion of central texts that are relevant to research regarding the law. In each class we will host a different leading scholar from the Faculty, who will be asked to choose a seminal text in his/her field and lead a discussion around this text.

Course/Module aims:
- Familiarity with seminal academic texts that are relevant to academic research in law.
- Improving the ability of critically reading academic texts.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: The class will have the structure of a Faculty seminar. Students will be asked to submit six short reaction papers (1-2 pages) before classes, containing a brief description of a central argument in the text and a critical comment on this argument.
Students are expected to actively participate in every class and submit all reaction papers.

The workshop will be graded as pass/fail.
