Course/Module description:
Academics from various institutions will present a paper in its writing stage. The presentation will be followed by comments and discussion. The paper will be distributed in advance and the students will have to write a 2 pages of critical reaction to the paper.
Course/Module aims:
The purpose of the workshop is to expose the students to an updated researches in criminal law (substantive, procedural and evidence) and criminology
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Knowledge of an updated academic research 2. Getting to know the various stages in academic writing 3. An ability of critical evaluation of academic paper 4. Drafting short reactions
