Course/Module description:
Academics from various institutions will present a paper in its writing stage. The presentation will be followed by comments and discussion. The paper will be distributed in advance and the students will have to write a 2 pages of critical reaction to the paper.

Course/Module aims:
The purpose of the workshop is to expose the students to an updated researches in criminal law (substantive, procedural and evidence) and criminology


Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

1. Knowledge of an updated academic research
2. Getting to know the various stages in academic writing
3. An ability of critical evaluation of academic paper
4. Drafting short reactions

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Each meeting starts with a short presentation of the paper. The presentation is followed by students comments under the instruction of the teacher
