Course/Module description:
Administrative law - basic principles; the application of administrative law; the principle of legality; residual powers; judicial review on the legality, process and discretion levels; budget aspects; government contracts; review of administrative issues, matters of jurisdiction; justiciability and other preliminary obstacles for review.

Course/Module aims:
Critical knowledge of Israel administrative law. Detailed subject analysis, recognition of interaction between the subjects and between administrative law and other legal fields, such as constitutional law, contract law and criminal law, when relevant.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
To define the purposes and central principles of administrative law
To assess solutions and arrangements
To link different contexts on the basis of the principles of public law
To solve problems in writing within a word limit
To acquire an ability to combine particular subject matters with broad contexts

Two papers. Up to 5 points for excellent active partcipation.
