Course/Module description:
The course addresses major issues in contemporary international law. The lectures (and discussions held in the class) will emphasize recent trends in international law
Course/Module aims:
The students have to participate in all lectures (except 5) and all tutorials (except two). Exceptional rules (applying, for example, to those who are on military reserve) will be addressed in the clasess
The students have to read the reading materials.
The students have to submit short written assignments.
The final exam will cover all materials addressed in the lectures, tutorials and reading materials.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

To describe the main theoretical approaches to the study of international law.
To identify the main trends in the development of international law.
