Course/Module description:
In this seminar we will discuss the theoretical and practical aspects of arbitration. We will explore the main topics of this particular method of alternative dispute resolution, and examine Israeli arbitration law.
The seminar is divided into two parts: The first part consists of frontal lectures. In the second part each student will present his/her research topic. The presentation will be followed by discussion.
Course/Module aims:
The object of this seminar is to provide students with knowledge about the arbitration process, so that they acquire high analytical skills on their research topic.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Know and understand Israeli arbitration law.
• Know and analyze various legal topics of arbitration.
• Implement critical thought on the arbitration process.
• Know and understand the fundamentals of Israeli arbitration law and have knowledge over the relevant cases and legislation.
• Know and understand legal issues of international commercial arbitration
