Course/Module description:
An in-depth understanding of psychopathy in its various aspects and its connection to delinquency. The course presents a broad picture of the psychopathic personality, with reference to the understanding of psychopathy in the psychiatric, criminological and legal aspects, as well as the implications of psychopathy for coping with and dealing with the various aspects. Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between psychopathy and crime in its various forms.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
To define and identify the psychopathic personality, to distinguish between personality disorder and mental illness, to distinguish and compare the different definitions of psychopathy from the psychiatric and legal aspects, to visit these incubations and to discuss the implications of the different definitions of psychopathy, to assess the relationship between psychopathy and crime in its various forms.
