Course/Module description:
The course, "Topics in Food Security," offers an exploration of key dimensions in food security. The first part of the course will provide a basic introduction to fundamental aspects of food security. The second part will focus on innovative and key academic articles. Each week, different students will lead a critical and thought-provoking discussion of various papers. The final assignment is the creation of a concise, impactful recorded presentation (similar to TED Talks) that offers real-world perspectives and insights.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Upon completing the "Topics in Food Security" course, students will:
1. Gain familiarity with key dimensions of food security and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world issues.
2. Develop critical thinking skills to analyze diverse perspectives on food security.
3. Improve critical reading, discussion, and writing skills necessary for engaging with academic texts.
4. Cultivate effective presentation skills, including the art of concise information delivery tailored to various audiences.
