Course/Module description:
The module will focus in the basic notions of calculus. We will learn the mathematical language on which all sciences are based, as well as other disciplines such as economics and statistics. The course is loaded with new concepts and interesting notions, but is also challenging.

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
By the end of this course you will be able to tackle basic mathematical problems from different areas, to read mathematical proofs independently and to apply the basic theorems of calculus.
