The course examines the leading dilemma of the Israeli democracy emerging from a multicultural society with fascinating ties between political identity, community and the party system.
Course/Module aims:
A systemic understanding of the Israeli formative processes which shaped the emergence of the state, its first generation of a melting pot ideology and the vibrant and polarizing politics of the last twenty years.
