Course/Module description:
The course will focus on real estate finance and investment.
Course/Module aims:
Students will learn concepts, theories, principles, tools, and methods in various areas of real estate, both locally and globally. The learning process will include theoretical and practical study of the topics covered in the course, case study analysis that presents real problems, comparative analysis of different types of real estate financing and investments, and guest lectures on diverse topics.
The course will examine investment analysis, financing decisions, and top-down and bottom-up analysis methods on both the micro and macro levels. It will explore key factors in decision-making related to real estate finance and investment, various investment challenges, different types of financing and investment, real estate valuation, project financing methodologies for construction, and financing for existing projects in different asset types. The course will address both theoretical and practical aspects of real estate finance and investment, emphasizing the approach that asset value is a central factor in decision-making within this sector.
