Course/Module description:
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a set of approaches utilized to efficiently integrate suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and stores, so that merchandize is produced and distributed at the right quantities, to the right locations, and at the right time, in order to minimize system-wide costs while satisfying service level requirements.
Course/Module aims:
The goals of this course are threefold. First, develop understanding of supply chain phenomena and challenges. Second, develop modeling skills and tool kit, applicable to supply chain planning. Last, learn tactics, concepts and counter-measures for supply chain improvement
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
