Course/Module description:
The course reviews the academic accounting and finance literature dealing broadly with capital markets. The course surveys theoretical and empirical developments in this body of knowledge and discusses selected articles.

Course/Module aims:
The objective of this course is to expose the student to academic research in accounting and finance. Students are required to demonstrate knowledge in the reviewed course content and to prepare and present a final paper.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The course aims to develop original thinking on topics related to accounting and finance and to advance students' ability to critically analyze academic literature, independent research skills and the ability to express themselves clearly, both in writing and in presentation.

Attendance is mandatory
